Mendocino Cottage is only 4 miles from the village and beach, and one quarter mile from Jackson State Forest. Our location near Jackson State Forest and the Mendocino Woodlands makes this the perfect place to start your hike or bike ride. At the end of the day relax on the redwood decks, or curl up with a book in front of the Jotul wood burning stove. There are many books and movies to select from, but for those who want a dinner or night out we are only 10 minutes from the village of Mendocino and its many fine restaurants.
